The family dashboard
The family’s week on the living room TV, shown as artwork. Here with a made up family, Johan, Sara, Leo, Elsa and Alva, so the idea shows without our calendar doing so. The interface is in Swedish.
The TV
The picture is drawn at 3840 × 2160 and sent to a Samsung The Frame in Art Mode. After 3 pm tomorrow starts to grow in, after 7 pm it takes over the whole screen.
The phone
The same data on the phone, behind a login. Tap a day in the row to browse.
How it fits together
One shape for everything
Every source has its own format. All of it becomes the same event: who, when, where and which parent is responsible. Meeting time and game time are kept apart.
Clashes show
The clubs don’t know about each other. Two activities for the same person at the same time turn red, the only red on the screen.
Never lie about freshness
If the data is old, the picture says so. An old game time that looks fresh is worse than none.
The kids should read it themselves
Colour and shape before text, no abbreviations. A question of the day for the older kids, a word with a picture for the youngest.
